ST325 Handpiece with QFN attached to vacuum pikThe ST 325 is a digital, self-contained system that is fully programmable and can be used to remove or install surface mount components when individual or multiple operations are to be run. From the front panel, the system can be used in either manual or “timed” modes. Manual mode means that the system generates heated airflow when the cycle button is pressed; when it is pressed a second time the system shuts off. “Timed” modes allow the operator to create up to 20 “Profiles” that consist of time and temperature parameters to ensure process control and repeatability. The system uses a pump to generate airflow that first passes through a heater, where it is warmed to the appropriate temperature, and then through optionally available heat-focusing nozzles that “shape” the air stream for the specific component. A user-friendly front panel interface with Digital Display allows for easy adjustment of temperature, flow rate and timing and intuitive programming and profile development.

Quiet Operation, NO Heater Cool-Down Required

The ST 325 features a Quiet-Flo turbine blower for close to silent operation and immediately turns off air flow after use. Air flow instantly shuts down because the ST 325 does not require a heater "cool-down" period, as competitive units do. The heavy-duty, durable metal housing ensures years of service.  Additionally, the ST 325 comes with the Lo-Flo pump and the vacuum wand (PV-65 Pik-Vac Wand) for manipulating components manually. The capabilities of the ST 325 can be greatly enhanced when coupled with the ST 500 Z-Avis Platform, and PACE Preheaters such as the PH 100, ST 400 or ST 1600.

Patented Handpiece Design with 575 Watts of Power!

The ST 325's powerful handpieceST325 Nozzle with spring loaded Vacuum Pik and vacuum cup features an integrated, spring loaded vacuum pick with interchangeable vacuum cup sizes for holding and lifting components. The “give” in the spring loading is set, but the absolute position of the vacuum pik is adjustable over a 1.5" length. Both cycle start and vacuum functions are activated with conveniently located switches on the handpiece. Unlike competitive handpieces, a unique Nozzle Adaptor does NOT require tools, allowing instantaneous change-out of heat-focusing nozzles!
